The second album for Harris was released in 1975, following her debut Gliding Bird. Due to a musical relationship with Gram Parsons that altered her musical direction, the sophomore album would be the one that launched her career. The album contains the country hit song "If I Could Only Win Your Love". Linda Ronstadt sings harmony on the song "Queen Of the Silver Dollar"

She has recorded more than 25 albums and has lent her talents to countless fellow artists' recordings. In recognition of her remarkable career, Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
