After Steve Marriott left the group Small Faces to form Humble Pie, the remaining members formed Faces in 1969. Faces featured Ian McLagan, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones from Small Faces and were joined by Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart, both from the Jeff Beck Group.
