Special (COVID-19) Edition Features 4 (Not 10) Artists Celebrating 7th Year Of Beloved Pink Vinyl Initiative For Gilda's Club NYC

Ten Bands re-issue their albums on limited edition pink vinyl, all for one cause. This is the 7th year for the initiative that has raised over $250,000 for Gilda's Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for both those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. It is named after comedian Gilda Radner, who passed away from cancer at the age of 43 in 1989. In response to the coronavirus outbreak, they have transitioned their in-person cancer support program to a virtual program to continue to provide free services to cancer patients who are among the most vulnerable populations of this pandemic.

This year's set is a modified "special edition" with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic featuring 4 (not 10) fantastic titles by much-loved artists, including, Fitz and the Tantrums' Pickin' Up The Pieces 10th Anniversary (Dangerbird), Brian Fallon's Local Honey (Lesser Known Records), Twin Peaks' Side A (Grand Jury), and Chiodos' All's Well That Ends Well 15th Anniversary (Equal Vision), each to be released on 10" or 12" pink vinyl packages.

Fitz & the Tantrums went from the living room to the main stage. The recipe for meteoric success? Six killer musicians, five dapper suits, irresistible songs, some serendipity and one vintage organ. Since their first show at Hollywood's Hotel Café in December 2008, Fitz and co. have toured with Maroon 5, played to thousands at Colorado's world famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre, shared the stage New Year's Eve with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and performed on KCRW's esteemed show, Morning Becomes Eclectic. The soul-pop group's debut studio album, Pickin' Up The Pieces, was released in 2010 and features the songs "Breakin' The Chains Of Love" and "MoneyGrabber".
