The sound stage blossoms to open up a three-dimensional image of natural, spatial sound!
GAIA I delivers a machined stainless steel structure, finished in stately dark chrome. Incorporating IsoAcoustics patented design principles, GAIA provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.
IsoAcoustics GAIA speaker isolation delivers amazing results with B&W 802 speakers in Boston Symphony Orchestras newly renovated Control Room! WSDG, an international company specializing in architectural acoustic design, provided a beautiful, aesthetically appealing acoustic solution to the upgrade of the BSO Control Room. IsoAcoustics had the opportunity to install the new GAIA I isolators under the B&W 802 D2 speakers, with a selection of music played for comparison. The difference in sound clarity and openness was instantly apparent. The soundstage opened and became more three dimensional and spacious.
John Storyk, Founding Partner of WSDG wrote, As we have seen in a number of our installations using other IsoAcoustics mounts, the WSDG team was very impressed with the improved clarity, imaging and time domain improvements that the Gaia 1 isolators provide. I expect to see more of these packages become a required option for larger floor mount monitor systems in our rooms. Dave, thanks again of your hard work to create this product.
IsoAcoustics was pleased to be invited to one of VPI Industries listening rooms to demo the GAIA Is under a pair of KEF Blades. Harry Weisfeld, founder of VPI Industries and Dipinjeet Sehdev of KEF America immediately heard tighter bass, more clarity and a wider soundstage. Harry Weisfeld later said: "Installing the GAIA isolators on my KEF Blades gave the biggest improvement in sound I have ever heard on the system. Better than changing cables or electronics, the noise floor was lower, the focus was better, and the bass went deeper. All around a total success." - Harry Weisfeld, Founder, VPI Industries
GAIA I isolators are delivered in sets of 4 in a luxurious leather box with alternative thread sizes to fit most speakers in this weight range. Included threads sizes are M12, M8 and 1/4-20. Optional adapter plates are available for B&W Nautilus and Diamond D1 & D2 speakers to replace the ball-casters and spikes.
Optimal results are achieved by installing the GAIA isolators with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speakers motive forces. Lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface. Designed for a wide variety of floor standing speakers with a maximum weight of 220lbs (100kg). Alternative threaded studs provided in M8, 1/4-20 and M12.
"I heard more of the music and less of the speaker. Not only that - instruments and voices were more precisely defined on the soundstage, which itself was wider and higher. A remarkable product." - Robert Deutsch, Stereophile.com, October 2017
"IsoAcoustics is a company that gets loudspeaker isolation right--and isolation is important if you want to experience the very best performance that your speakers have to offer. Few products can make such a noticeable performance improvement to floorstanding loudspeakers as the IsoAcoustics GAIA acoustic isolation stands. In my opinion, they are are a no-brainer for all floorstander owners with speakers priced anywhere between the extreme budget and the über expensive ends of the price spectrum...For me, this product is so good, it's simply a must-have..." - Bob Barrett, hometheaterreview.com, March 2018
"Theres no doubt that the GAIA feet provide a high degree of isolation that gives the speaker the opportunity to breath and display a level of clarity and openness thats easy to hear. Music just sounds right with them in place, and the price is right to" - Lee Dunkley, Hi-Fi Choice Magazine, August 2017
