Before This World is the seventeenth studio album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor. It was released on June 16, 2015. Recorded primarily at TheBarn in Western Massachusetts, the 10-track album features James legendary Band: Jimmy Johnson, Steve Gadd, Michael Landau, Larry Goldings, Luis Conte, Andrea Zonn, Arnold McCuller, David Lasley and Kate Markowitz, as well as special guests Yo-Yo Ma and Sting. Kim and Henry Taylor provide background vocals on several songs.
