Three sides of this album are from a concert Coltrane played at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, July 28, 1965. Fellow musicians included are McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass and Elvin Jones on drums. The remaining side was actually recorded a day before at the Antibes Jazz Festival.
