180g Vinyl LP!
Another must have album from the legendary bluesman John Lee Hooker. On this LP, John is joined by his cousin Earl Hooker. A blues icon with a formidable slide technique, Earl died shortly after this session. The other key figure on this date was organ player Big Moose Walker. The album's highlights consist of "I Wanna Be Your Puppy Baby" and "Have Mercy on My Soul," as well as a reworking of "Boom Boom" done here as "Bang Bang Bang Bang." Pressed on 180g black vinyl.
