Johnny Hartman I Just Dropped By to Say Hello Hybrid Stereo Japanese Import SACD

The second Impulse! session for ballad singer Johnny Hartman followed his classic collaboration with John Coltrane. Hartman is heard in peak form throughout these 11 pieces, which include "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning," "Sleepin' Bee," "Stairway to the Stars," and even "Charade." Tenor saxophonist Illinois Jacquet is on five of the songs, guitarists Kenny Burrell and Jim Hall help out on a few tunes, and Hartman is accompanied by pianist Hank Jones, bassist Milt Hinton, and drummer Elvin Jones. Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, on October 9 & 17, 1963.

Classical masterpiece collection

The DSD mastering has been processed at the newly introduced the "ESOTERIC MASTERING CENTER", where deploys the latest X-series models from the flagship Grandioso as the core, including the Grandioso D1X, Grandioso C1X, and Grandioso G1X, in addition to the Grandioso S1, a pair of G-02X, MEXCEL cables, the MERGING PYRAMIX by ESOTERIC Original Tuned as DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)/Audio Interface coordinated by Mr. Tetsuya Kato, and re-mastered by Mr. Masaya Tohno under the supervision by Mr. Motoaki Ohmachi.
