The Georgian-French classical pianist Khatia Buniatishvili gave her first concert with the Tblisi Orchestra when she was six. Since then, she has become a regular attendee of the Verbier Festival, played with Paavo Järvi and has been hailed by critics as ''one of today's most exciting and technically gifted young pianists''. In 2011, her debut album was released by Sony Classical, which included Franz Liszt's ''Sonata In B Minor'," ''Liebestraum No. 3'' and ''Mephisto Waltz No. 1."
Franz Liszt is available on vinyl for the first time. This 2LP includes a 4-page booklet with liner notes by Buniatishvili herself and Sigfried Schibli.
