1970 was a turning point for the dedicated bluesman Lowell Fulsom (AKA Lowell Fulton), as he set his sights on new territory and ventured into the doors of Fame Studios and recorded one of the best blues albums of all time with In a Heavy Bag.

The essential blues album features some of the most incredible playing and singing from the legendary artist, as he teamed up with The Swampers (David Hood, Barry Beckett, Eddie Hinton and Roger Hawkins), and bridged two generations of blues into one awesome session.

Pivotal classics like "Man on the Run," "Look at You Baby" and "Cheating Woman" were just a couple of the great ones they hit out of the box in Muscle Shoals, and then the classic Beatles White Album hit "Why Don't We Do It in the Road" truly gets an inspired reading from Lowell and his friends.

More greats like "Lady in the Rain" and "Don't Destroy Me" made this one incredible album over five decades ago…
