Tapeless Direct Recording 24K Gold CD!
The Ultimate Goal Of Recording Reached!
Most Natural Sound Recorded By An Innovative Recording Technique - A "Must" Experience!
Violinist Michi Sugiura studied since an early age under many prominent violinists and won numerous prizes in major international competitions. In this CD she plays a violin made in 1697 by a son of Nicolo Amati who made the small town of Cremona, Italy famous for producing superior string instruments including Stradivarius.
Sugiura, who was born and grew up in the United States, plays this favorite violin of hers with a great deal of strength and energy. Her dynamic technique adds brilliance of life to the music in this album. With her super talent Sugiura accurately interprets each piece and recreates all emotions that are meant to be there. For example, in "Violin Sonatas" Sugiura successfully brings out much of the Italian poetic sentiment and passion in a modern structure. In terms of feeling, "Summertime" is a piece that is very different from other pieces in this album, but again Sugiura shows her confidence in well delineating the feeling of the piece.
The on-microphone recording contributes to the adding of real dimensions to the sound by articulating subtleties and details. Sugiura's talent and the uncompromising caring of the recording specialists made this album a very special one.
The outstanding sound quality of these CDs was made possible by the application of Harmonix tuning techniques and direct recording method. The shortfalls of digital recording caused by electric and mechanical distortions are eliminated by tuning all the elements critical to recording; microphone, cables, amplifiers, A/D converter, PC boards in computer and master disc itself. In this tapeless direct recording editing is done in the computer without repeated copying fo the original recording, thus making the master CD-R disc free of degradation of the original signal.
The result is an entirely new dimension of sound with goodness of both analog and digital recording methods - sound that is warm with much delineation, yet clear and free of noise. You will hear in any of the CDs in this series the result of the intensive and extensive tuning and new type of tapeless direct recording no one has ever tried before.
Michi Sugiura has power and youthful energy in her articulate techniaue... Brilliant interpretation of emotions make this CD a very special one.
