Double-gatefold compilation of the greatest songs from the legendary '90s MOM (Music for Our Mother Ocean) charity albums, which led to the largest donations in Surfrider Foundation's history. This compilation features some of the biggest and most respected artists in music, includin Beastie Boys, Beck, Jimmy Buffet, Butthole Surfers, Ben Harper, Jane's Addiction, Jewel, No Doubt, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brian Setzer, Soundgarden, Brian Wilson and more. Proceeds go to the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world's oceans, waves, and beaches. Surfdog Records has been a passionate supporter of Surfrider since 1992, and owner Dave Kaplan has been a proud member of the Advisory Board for over three decades. Since its inception, Surfdog's official motto has been "please help preserve our oceans." Manufacturing with eco-friendly record plant Good Neighbor. All non-toxic, fully recyclable material, and all packaging is made from certified recycled paper/boards, raw plant and water-based dispersion varnish. In place of shrink-wrap, the sleeves are 100% recycled and re-usable.
