Celebrating In Utero's 30th, the album pressed on 180-gram vinyl plus 5 b-sides & bonus tracks pressed on a 10- inch have been newly remastered from 96kHz 24-bit transfers of the original analog tapes by original album engineer Bob Weston. Original album artwork has been expanded to a premium tip-on gatefold jacket for the first time with new 10-inch jacket art.

[Bob] Weston had access to the original analog master tapes, and has done a superb job of clearing out the recording's grunge while leaving the musicians' grunge intact. The album, in this version, has far more weight and a much wider soundstage. It's also easier than ever before to hear the bass line. Weston has thoughtfully included the most meaningful outtakes from the 20th anniversary edition, and cleaned them up as well...Finally, we have an In Utero that delivers the sonics, the superb songs, and the live impact that America's pre-eminent grunge band deserves. This one is highly recommended.
