The QVIBE, Qv2 is an AC Line Harmonizer that is designed to enhance the musical performance and picture quality of any audio or video system, delivering readily demonstrable benefits at an incredibly affordable price. It can be used as a "stand alone" product or to complement a full QRT system including QBASE-Mark II, Qx4, Qx2 and Qk1 units. The Qv2 works directly on the AC line, introducing a carefully calculated range of pulsed frequencies, clocked from the original 50 or 60Hz waveform. The result is a drop in noise floor, with a commensurate increase in image depth, dimensionality and presence, significantly increasing the realism of both musical and visual performance.

Like other QRT products, the benefits are cumulative and Qv2s are even more impressive when used en masse. The compact, "plug-top" construction of the Qv2's mechanically tuned housing allows it to be inserted into any free socket on your system's AC line - although adding directly to a QBASE-Mark II maximizes the benefits.

Qv2 units are available in either US (NEMA) or EU (Schuko) configurations, and compatible with 50/60Hz 100 - 240V supplies. However, standard adaptors can be used to employ the Qv2 in other markets. The Qv2 is housed in a mechanically tuned carbon fiber and has high quality gold plated connection pins. It is built entirely in the USA and carries a two-year warranty.

Nordost's literature claims the Qv2 units bring an improvement "in the natural flow and harmonic warmth." I heard this and more...I could hear from where I stood that the bass note being played immediately jumped up in impact, mid-note, when the metal blades engaged the socket.

QRT Power Products

Nordost's QRT power products are designed to alleviate the impact of poor quality AC power on your sensitive electronics. By controlling ground flow, and limiting RFI and timing errors associated with the AC line, QRT products bring AC power closer to the desired "distortion-less condition" without limiting the peak current of your electronics.

QRT products are cumulative and their effects are best heard when used as a system. When arranged correctly, the effects include a lower noise floor, increased image depth with tighter focus, wider soundstage, as well as improved overtones, pacing, dynamic range and musical expression.
