This 10-song disc is Paul Simon's most heartfelt and introspective to date..

The album features the 2010 single "Getting Ready For Christmas Day". Instead of sleigh bells and choirs, "Getting ready For Christmas Day" has "the ragged charm" of the Simon and Garfunkel hit "Cecilia". The single also samples Reverend J.M Gates' 1941 pre-war speech.

Paul Simon has a long, distinguished musical career that began in the 1960s as half of Simon and Garfunkel. The iconic musician has won numerous Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.

This remarkable, thoughtful, often joyful record deserves to be recognized as among Paul Simon's very finest achievements.
