Lost Psychedelic Folk Classic On 180g Vinyl LP!
First Ever LP Reissue!
Includes Stunning 16-Page Booklet & Bonus Flier!
Despite having completed their debut for Columbia just weeks earlier, in August 1970 Cedric Smith, Richard Keelan, Michael Butler, and other Conspirators recorded another album, exclusively for Canadian radio broadcast. For this recording they'd assembled a fine batch of new material, as well as striking arrangements of songs by Bob Dylan, Donovan, and Smokey Robinson. Warm, atmospheric, and slightly mystical, it's a lost psychedelic folk classic re-issued on LP for the first time here, together with a large-format booklet including a detailed group history and previously unseen images. It also comes with a reproduction of a vintage flier.
"This Canadian/broadcast-only acid folk/psych holy album predates the group's Columbia Records of Canada long player by a year and features unique recordings (three covers and original compositions). Pressed in low quantities at the time of issue, this was created exclusively for CBC radio play. Pure commune folk music and one of Canada's most intriguing psychedelic artifacts. All tracks recorded at Studio G CBC Toronto on August 14 and 15, 1970." - Museum Of Canadian Music
