Second Solo Album From Peter Murphy Of Bauhaus!
Limited Edition Indigo Vinyl LP!

Beggars Arkive is excited to announce vinyl reissues for all five Peter Murphy solo releases on Beggars Banquet, plus the release of a brand new rarities album titled The Last And Only Star. Each album is pressed on colored vinyl, and the pressings are limited. The albums will be released in a series of three beginning in April.

Love Hysteria is Murphy's second studio album, originally released in 1988. For this album, Murphy collaborated with keyboardist Paul Statham (of B-Movie). Love Hysteria was produced by Simon Rogers, a former member of The Fall.

...[H]is most elegant post-Bauhaus effort to date. Love Hysteria had definite Bowie echoes, though the feeling was more late-'70s Berlin-era than Ziggy glam...Love Hysteria shows Murphy fully coming into his own as a performer.
