From 1971, Meddle is widely regarded as Pink Floyd's first concept album, and regarded by the band as the album that most prepared them for The Dark Side Of The Moon. The album introduced the idea of a theme that can be returned to. The album features the seminal 23-minute track, Echoes, that fills a complete side of the vinyl release.
