This 1991 release, Queen's 14th studio album, spawned five singles, "Innuendo", "I'm Going Slightly Mad", "Headlong", "The Show Must Go On", and "These Are the Days of Our Lives". The album was the last to be composed of entirely new material and the final studio album released prior to the death of Freddie Mercury. Innuendo reached number one internationally and, although it went Gold in the U.S., it peaked at number thirty there.
