Through the pandemic and protests, Rosanne was angry and pained at the state of the nation and wrote "Crawl Into The Promised Land" on 10/20 to convey her outrage with a sense of hope. Written with John Leventhal, this record is intended to remind Americans that the new future is here. Rosanne explains, "I feel that if we are to return to a united America, to 'one nation'...we have to clutch the dream and re-imagine our promised land, re-assembled at that higher level."

"Crawl Into The Promised Land" features backing vocals by Sarah Jarosz and Jakob Leventhal.

Rosanne Cash will be donating proceeds to the Arkansas Peace & Justice Memorial Movement.
