Originally released in 1976, Rushs epic, landmark release 2112 was their creative and commercial breakthrough as well as one of the bands most highly regarded releases among both fans and critics alike. With lyrics written by Neil Peart, 2112 kicks off with the ambitious seven-suite title track set in a futuristic world run by the Priests of the Temples of Syrinx who determine the content of all reading matter, songs, pictures every facet of life.

This 2CD/DVD contains the 40th Anniversary Abbey Road Studios remaster of original album which is on CD for 1st time. The second CD features rare, live & previously unreleased material including newly-recorded tracks from 2112 by Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins Nick Raskulinecz; Alice In Chains & more. The DVD included contains newly restored 1976 Capitol Theatre concert footage, Grohl/Hawkins/Raskulinecz video, Billy Talent video, plus a new interview featuring Alex Lifeson & Terry Brown. The package includes newly designed artwork by Hugh Syme & extensive liner notes by rock historian Rob Bowm.
