The basic idea with all the music recorded here is always the same: there is only one listener, and that is you! All the work and attention of the musicians and the sound engineers are focused on you. With each string instrument at a different point of the compass and the piano distributed over the front half of the audible circle - that is how the Trout Quintet sounds best. The double-bass is given more importance than in conventional stereo recordings.

Franz Schubert's Die Forelle - The Trout performed by the Alvarez Piano Quartet.
