180g Vinyl Double LP!
Acoustic & Electric Set!

'Recorded Live in Lafayette' is an outstanding display of Landreth's talent and skills. "If you get your best friends together, you might well find the magic," muses Sonny. Featuring 2LPs - one acoustic and one electric set - the 16-song opus covers more musical ground than any single album ever could, as the singer and songwriter's work stretches and twists across 93 minutes of full-band acoustic and electric bottleneck lightning.

Landreth's unique spin on guitar playing has made him legendary. Combining slides, fretted notes, and finger-picking techniques, Landreth creates a complex, multi-layered sound onstage. Landreth has continued to develop his musical vision, growing increasingly original and more diverse, expanding from blues, zydeco, folk, country and jazz, into increasingly genre-defying musical endeavors.

The lean Mississippi native who grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana has enjoyed a prolific career, dating back to his solo debut album "Blues Attack" in 1981. Although the album fanned the flames of his reputation as an emerging force in roots music, Landreth kept a parallel career going as a celebrated sideman and session player. Over the years, he performed and recorded with artists like John Hiatt and British blues innovator John Mayall, and he toured as a member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. He also collaborated with Eric Clapton and has performed at all of Clapton's prestigious Crossroads Guitar Festivals since 2004.

"The most underestimated musician on the planet and also one of the most advanced." - Eric Clapton
