Winwood's fifth solo studio album was released in June 1988 topping the album charts in the U.S. while the title song topped the pop and rock singles charts. The album was nominated for the 1989 Grammy awards in four categories including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Engineered Album, Non Classical - winning the last category for engineer Tom Lord-Alge.
