Half-Speed Mastered 180g Vinyl LP with Obi Strip!

Talk Talk's fourth critically acclaimed studio album has been cut at half-speed for vinyl. Since its original release in 1988, Spirit of Eden has grown to become one of the most influential albums of the '80s. Featuring staple tracks such as "The Rainbow" and "I Believe in You," the album is steeped in legend for its long and improvisational recording sessions that created a body of work that would go on to be vital in the creation of post-rock as a genre.

This record was cut on an extensively modified Neumann VMS-80 consisting of an improved SX74 cutterhead with ceramic feedback coils and new magnetics, and an upgraded pitch control system. Making use of custom made current amplifiers with transistors built to specification, paired with voltage amplifiers from Crispin Murray. Fed by new filtering and correction circuitry created by James Kedwards.
