Mobile Fidelity has always had a special relationship with the music of The Moody Blues. A Question Of Balance is our seventh and last of the Moody Blues' 'classic seven' titles. This Threshold release from 1970 contains the upbeat and unforgettable song Question which was a single in the U.K. A Question Of Balance rose to #1 on the pop chart in the U.K. and to #3 in America. Moody Blues lore has that A Question Of Balance was the first to be recorded in a way that would translate better in concert, leaving out many of the complicated orchestral movements and overdubs. Mobile Fidelity uncovers and defines the layers of instruments; once again bringing clarity and depth to the Moodies magnificent melodies. The once controversial cover has been reproduced in its entirety as have the song lyrics and the original Decca CD booklet liner notes by the band members.
