This classic album is available on vinyl for the first time in years. Pressed on audiophile quality 180-gram vinyl.

1990's Bossanova features original material written by the band's frontman Black Francis and marked the point he took artistic control over the band. The album's sound was inspired by surf and space rock and the lyrics reference aliens, ufo's and such.

The album produced two US Modern Rock Tracks charting singles, "Velouria" (#4) and "Dig For Fire" (#11).
