Deluxe Edition On Double LP With Rare Bonus Tracks!
First Time The Individual Turtles Titles Have Been In Print In Over A Decade!

Originally released on the small White Whale label, The Turtles' original albums have remained stubbornly out of print for many years. At last, Manifesto Records will be releasing the entire six album White Whale Turtles catalog on double LP sets, with a wealth of rare bonus material.

The first three LPs, It Ain't Me Babe (1965), You Baby (1966) and Happy Together (1967), are presented in their original mono and stereo mixes. The remaining three LPs, Battle Of The Bands (1968), Turtle Soup (1969) and Wooden Head (1970), feature a generous assortment of rare bonus tracks, including some previously unreleased material.

In the summer of 1965, The Turtles launched to success with an unforgettable cover of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe". This track, which became the title of their first LP, reached the Billboard Top Ten, with the second single "Let Me Be" reaching top 30, and the third hit "You Baby" breaking into the top 20. After a slight dip with their unrecognizably brilliant second album, The Turtles became a household name in the spring of 1967 topping the charts for three weeks with the #1 hit sensation "Happy Together". The Turtles' legacy of sunshine pop, folk rock classics thrives, holding modern commercial success, attributed to being one of the most recognizable sounds of the '60s.
