The Walkmen's 2002 Debut Reissued On Vinyl LP!
Remastered By Chris Colbert!

A new pressing of the long out-of-print debut album from seminal NYC art rock band The Walkmen. Originally released in 2002, the album features early standouts "We've Been Had" and "Wake Up" and was widely acclaimed on release. Produced by the Walkmen in their now defunct Harlem studio Marcata, the album launched a long storied career for the band who would go on to make six full-length albums before going on hiatus in 2013. The album was remastered in 2018 by Chris Colbert.

What world do these songs come from? Clearly, it is someplace magical - a Tim Burton dream, a Wim Wenders skyline, maybe a comic book Gotham or manga artist Paul Pope's futuristic curry-scented, Tokyo-ized New York City. But, wherever it is, you'll be drawn into the parallel universe as soon as you push 'play.'
-Charles Spano, AllMusic.com, 4.5/5 stars
