Despite the tight tolerances of the hole in the center of the vinyl (0.286" +0.001" / -0.002") it sometimes happens that the hole is less than 0.284" min. In solution to this problem, Stable 33.33 offers their reamer

Completely redesigned to allow you better control when correcting the diameter in the center of your vinyl, this small tool is very simple to use. You can now easily correct the diameter of the center hole on your vinyl records that were too tight to put on your turntable.

The Center Hole Reamer is nicely made and presented: it includes a magnetically attached protective cover and comes in a small cloth bag. Most importantly it works great!

Center hole reamer

Worked like a charm Helped enlarge or cleanup the center hole so it would fit over the spindle on my Dr. Fieckert turntable
