With "The Visitors", their final studio album, ABBA took several steps away from the lighter pop music they had recorded previously and the album is often regarded as a more complex and mature effort. The title track announced a change in musical style with its ominous synthesizer sounds and distinctive vocals by Frida. With Benny and Frida going their separate ways, the pain of splitting up was explored yet again in "When All Is Said and Done". "One of Us" became the biggest hit of the album which also depicted the end of a love story.
In March of 2010, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted ABBA - Agnetha Faltskog, Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Conquering the world as the most commercially successful pop group of the 70s (more than 100 million records sold worldwide just in that decade).
ABBAs popularity continues to grow with the phenomenal success of the stage and film versions of Mamma Mia! In fact, the soundtrack to the film hit #1 Pop in 2008. It has been estimated that ABBA has sold more than 370 million records worldwide to as of March 2010.
