Highlights Edition 4LP Box Set Featuring 42 Tracks!
Includes 18 Completely Unreleased + 9 Super-Rare Cuts!

This next volume in the award-winning Bootleg Series tells the story of Bob Dylan's emergence and maturation as a songwriter and performer, from Minnesota to the Greenwich Village bohemia in the early 1960s. It includes rare Columbia Records outtakes, recordings made at club dates, in tiny informal gatherings, in friends' apartments, and at jam sessions in long-gone musicians' hangouts.

The 4LP Highlights edition includes a 24-page book and features 42 tracks, of which 18 are completely unreleased as well as 9 super-rare cuts.

Through the Open Window is just a plain ol' fun listen, cruising through two and a half hours of really great moments from Dylan's early days... The set's coup de grace is the fourth LP, filled up with selections from the Carnegie Hall show. It's a great capper to the whirlwind we've just experienced. And while the set as a whole functions as a taster to a larger history lesson, it's an awfully cohesive and enjoyable one. If it hits you like it did me, you're going to want to hear the rest of it.
