Casualty of the loudness war

Music- 4 stars. Sonics- 2 stars. Good selection of songs. SQ is horrendous. Loud compressed & hard. There is no info on what the source was or how it was mastered, but from the sound of it I would guess that both layers were mastered from a 16/44 copy. This is my worst sounding sacd.

Absolutely fantastic

I’ve been waiting for the real meat and potatoes of Bon Jovi to hit SACD for years and it’s finally hear in form of a special release!! Honestly, this release sounds absolutely amazing. Even the CD layer has much improved sonics over the original CD release.
