Well it’s taken us a bit of time to get round to releasing one of THE defining albums of the mid 70’s the glorious Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. The evolution of Silk Degrees began SIX solo albums earlier with Boz which was released only in the UK in 1966. There then followed a further five solo albums a couple of years stint with the Steve Miller Band before Boz hit his stride with Silk Degrees. This is a superb album with a brace of brilliant hits and fantastic songs on it like Lowdown, What Can I Say, Georgia, Lido Shuffle, It’s Over and of course, We’re All Alone. Silk Degrees sold a breathtaking 5,000,000 copies in the U.S. and featured the cream of the L.A. session players at the time like Toto’s Jeff Porcaro and others like Les Dudek, Louie Shelton, Jim Horn etc, etc. A timeless album! Have no doubt this album should be in everyone’s vinyl collection!

Selections: What Can I Say, Georgia, Jump Street, What Do You Want The Girl To Do, Harbour Lights, Lowdown, It’s Over, Love Me Tomorrow, Lido Shuffle, We’re All Alone.
