Legendary Soundtrack On 180g Vinyl 2LP!
Remastered by Geoff Foster & Pressed at Record Industry!
Includes 2 Previously Unreleased Tracks!

The vinyl for the legendary soundtrack is finally back in print! Includes two never-before-released tracks.

Clint Mansell, a musician, composer, and founding member of the band Pop Will Eat Itself, first worked with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky on the score for his 1998 film Pi. In 2000, Mansell worked with Kronos Quartet to record his acclaimed and best-selling score for Aronofsky's Requiem for a Dream (Nonesuch), and in 2006 he scored the filmmaker's The Fountain (Nonesuch), which included performances by Mogwai and Kronos.

For 40 years, the Kronos Quartet - David Harrington, John Sherba (violins), Hank Dutt (viola), and Sunny Yang (cello) - has pursued a singular artistic vision, combining a spirit of fearless exploration with a commitment to continually re-imagining the string quartet experience. In the process, Kronos has become one of the most celebrated and influential groups of our time, performing thousands of concerts worldwide, releasing more than 50 recordings of extraordinary breadth and creativity, collaborating with many of the world's most intriguing and accomplished composers and performers, and commissioning more than 800 works and arrangements for string quartet.
