This Single-Layer SHM-SACD can only be played on a Super Audio CD Player!

SHM-SACD (Super High Material SACD) is the ultimate Super Audio CD that utilizes the materials and technologies that were developed for the SHM-CD to further enhance the audio-resolution. These discs are made with polycarbonate developed for the screen of the liquid crystal display. As it has a higher transparency, players can read the signal more faithfully. Also, it excels in fluidity, which enables you to cast a more accurate pit. What works wonders for a low resolution format such as CD should offer even greater sonic improvements in a real high resolution format such as SACD.

"Half studio album, half live album, Wheels of Fire not only has the definitive Cream tune — "White Room" — but it is also incontrovertible proof of Eric Clapton's skill. "Crossroads," a live reworking of Robert Johnson's blues classic, features one of the most blazing guitar solos ever recorded." - www.rollingstone.com

Like the band's previous two released albums, Cream's third album, Wheels Of Fire (1968), also topped the charts. Although it was criticized at the time for being a somewhat disjointed album, divided into one LP of new studio material and one LP of live material, it redeems itself because "White Room" has gone down in the annals as one of the great moments in Rock and Roll.

"Powered by Eric Clapton's wah-wah work, the song's unnerving psychedelic imagery came from Brown, emerging from a period of drug and alcohol excess. 'It was in my white-painted room that I had the horrible drug experience that made me want to stop everything,' he said." - Rolling Stone
