Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of All Time - Rated 161/500!

After leaving major rock bands they had each helped form, Stephen Stills (Buffalo Springfield), David Crosby (The Byrds) and Graham Nash (The Hollies), came together in late 1969 to form one of the first rock and roll "Supergroups". Signed instantly to Atlantic Records, the trio (with the help of drummer Dallas Taylor) wrote and recorded one of the greatest debut albums ever by a rock band. Delicate three part harmonies featuring Nash on top, Crosby in the middle and Stills on the bottom decorate the entire album. Mastered from the original 1/4 inch, 2-track (15 ips) tapes by the legendary Bernie Grundman.

Selections: Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, Marrakesh Express, Guinnevere, You Don't Have To Cry, Pre-Road Downs, Wooden Ships, Lady Of The Island, Helplessly Hoping, Long Time Gone, 49 Bye-Byes.
