In 1969, Reginald Dwight wasn't yet the superstar Elton John that he would become. It was during these early salad days that he earned money recording versions of contemporary hit songs. These budget priced compilation albums of hits for the UK market, provided regular work for "Reg Bright" (as he was incorrectly credited). This album gathers together some of Elton John's best early pre-stardom work, as he projects these radio classics through his distinctive voice.
