As part of Deutsche Grammophon’s continued commitment to making iconic recordings available on high quality 180g vinyl, the label releases Elvis Costello’s My Flame Burns Blue. The album features Costello performing both his own works as well as adaptations of others in various arrangements.

This album captures a joyful evening at the 2004 North Sea Jazz Festival and brings together songs and arrangements Elvis Costello has developed in a decade of collaboration with chamber group, jazz big bands and symphony orchestra. He is accompanied here by the Metropole Orkest, a unique hybrid of jazz big-band and classical orchestra, who have performed with many of the greatest names in jazz.
