This Single-Layer SACD can only be played on a Super Audio CD Player!

Kafka On The Shore consists of Viklicky's originals inspired by the literary works of Murakami, a Beatles tune ("Eleanor Rigby") and several well known jazz tunes. Viklicky is supported by bassist Josef Fetcho and drummer Laco Tropp, both excellent musicians based in Prague. Classical violist Jitka Hosprova and mezzo soprano Jana Sykorova appear as guests on one tune each.

The music is, like Murakami's novels, mysterious, emotionally charged and compelling. The trio swings with conviction and Viklicky's virtuosic performance enhances his strong compositions and arrangements.
