Frederic Alarie composed this requiem and created this album in which he expresses his dedication and gratitude as a tribute to his late father . It was recorded at St-Jean Baptiste church in Montreal. It is an unusual encounter between a choir and a doublebass and is filled with emotions that waver from darkness to illumination.
