Blue Note Classic Vinyl Reissue Series!
180g Vinyl LP!
Mastered By Kevin Gray from Original Analog Tapes!
Pressed at Optimal!
Grant Green's 1961 album Green Street presented the guitarist in a lean trio setting backed by bass (Ben Tucker) & drums (Dave Bailey). The spare setting & sturdy support created spacious realms for Green to unspool his bluesy lines on originals like "No. 1 Green Street" & showcase his singular tone on Thelonious Monk's "'Round About Midnight."
This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
Green Street stands as one of Grant Green's best recordings of many he produced in the ten prolific years he was with the Blue Note label.
