Hand-Numbered, Limited Edition Double LP!
First Album From Pantha Du Prince Under His Given Name!
Created With Acoustic Instruments Played Live!
429 Hertz - Formen von Stille (429 Hertz - Forms of Silence) is the first time that Pantha Du Prince is releasing an album under his given name, Hendrik Weber. And here, the music that has been developed from an entire body of work sounds like it has been reduced to its essence. A substance, an elixir, a remedy - that's slowly but constantly moving forward. After going all the way with sound and light, and pushing club spaces to their limits for more than a decade as Pantha Du Prince, Weber's music is now focused on resiliency within the space of the body. The music wants nothing more than to calm and heal, especially in the midst of the pandemic.
This album, Hedrik Weber's most cryptic music to date, was created wtih acoustic instruments that were played live. The results are light patterns of frequencies and specters. A flowing interplay of overtones and sweeping undertone at a rate of 429 Hertz. Paradoxical syntheses of fantasy and rationality provoke a persistent crackling between the music and ego. Pantha Du Prince had already been more deeply invested than others in the conviction that nature is a musician that can listen and take possession of itself, and now human and nature share the roles of transmitter and receiver on the album of Hendrik Weber.
