Featuring "Surf City", "The Little Old Lady (From Pasadena)", "Dead Man's Curve" & More!
Jan Berry and Dean Torrence, better known as Jan and Dean, helped shape the California surf sound of the 1960s. Among their most successful songs was 1963's "Surf City", co-written by Jan Berry and the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson. "Surf City" was the first surf song ever to reach number one on national charts, remaining at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. The duo's other charting top 10 singles were "Drag City" (1963), "Dead Man's Curve" (1964), and "The Little Old Lady (From Pasadena)" (1964).
Many of their big hits are included in this compilation, which is a true collector's package, and a salute to a top duo of the early days of rock and roll.
