The first vinyl release of a legendary performance of Mahler's 9th Symphony with Leonard Bernstein and Berliner Philharmoniker, recorded live in 1979. It was first released on CD in 1992. This is one of the greatest Mahler conductors and Mahler orchestras united for only two concerts in October 1979. It's the only cooperation ever between star conductor Leonard Bernstein and the glorious Berliner Philharmoniker. Gatefold Jacket 2 LP.
