He appeared in the films "La Bamba" (as Buddy Holly) and Francis Ford Coppola's Peggy Sue Got married". Crenshaw has also authored the book "Hollywood Rock 'n' Roll", compiled numerous compilation and tribute albums and can be heard on his own radio show "The Bottomless Pit" on New York's WFUV.
Crenshaw's most recent project has been a series of 10" vinyl EPs sold individually. Each EP contains a new song, a cover song and a remake of one of Crenshaw's own classics. His fourth EP, "Red Wine," features the great new title song as well as a cover of James McMurty's "Right Here Now" and a re-make of Crenshaw's classic "Delilah."
