Nickelback's fourth album The Long Road, released in 2003, sold over 3.7 million copies in the US and was also nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2004 Grammy Awards. The album was the last album with Ryan Vikedal as drummer.

The songs "Flat On the Floor" and "Believe It Or Not" are featured in the video game FlatOut 2.
