Combining the intricate beauty of his first LP with bite, honesty, wry, and raw emotion, Owen (aka Mike Kinsella) turns out his most heartfelt songwriting. To record No Good For No One Now, Mike moved back home to his mom's house and converted his old bedroom into a recording studio. During the recording, Mike decided that the cover image should be a print that hung in his mom's house during his childhood. As it turns out, the painting is by a German artist named Charlot Byi, who's figurines and artwork from the 1940's and 1950's are highly collectable today.
