Ray Conniff was a musical phenomenon with a legendary musical career starting in the late '40s with jazz artist Artie Shaw, and later being hired by Columbia Records' artist and A&R director Mitch Miller to do arrangements for key artists like Rosemary Clooney (yes, George Clooney's aunt), Johnny Mathis and Marty Robbins. Eventually, signed as an artist to the label, Ray Conniff and his other entity Ray Conniff & The Ray Conniff Singers would go on to record an unbelievable plethora of hit recordings in pop, adult, easy listening and country well into the 1990s.

With 1962's "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" LP, Ray Conniff and The Ray Conniff Singers created one of the most successful top charting hit holiday albums of all time, with this stunning masterpiece. Kicking the holiday season off with the amazing medley "Jolly Old St. Nicholas / The Little Drummer Boy" , Ray continues the hit filled album with more stellar interpretations of both popular and inspirational favorites like definitive hit versions of "The Twelve Days Of Christmas" and "Ring Christmas Bells" plus the heart warming favorite medley "Let It Snow!
