White Vinyl Double LP!
The Black Crowe's Rick Robinson 2nd Solo Album!
Special Edition Features Two Live Tracks!
Rich Robinson, the celebrated guitarist and co-founding member of The Black Crowes, reissues expanded catalog releases from his solo career via Eagle Rock Entertainment.
These newly re-imagined albums - Paper, Llama Blues, Through A Crooked Sun, and Woodstock Sessions - include previously unreleased tracks and penned essays from Robinson himself. The LP versions are issued as colored vinyl.
Robinsons second full-length solo album, Through A Crooked Sun, was conceived amidst an extended break from the Black Crowes, and was released in 2011. Recorded at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY, this record enjoyed wide acclaim from Robinsons worldwide audience and represented a progression in his direction as a solo artist.
Black Crowes' guitarist and co-founder releases his sophomore album with guest artists Warren Haynes, Larry Campbell, John Medeski, and Karl Berger.
Socrates said that a life unexamined was not worth living, but sometimes life is going so well that you could forgive one for just going with the flow. But life will catch up with you in time, as it did for Rich Robinson. Before he was 25, he had fame as the guitar player for the Black Crowes, fortune, a beautiful wife and home; seemingly, he had it all. But in the blink of an eye, much of it was gone. How he managed to make it through with graciousness and his sense of self-intact is examined on his sophomore solo album, "Through A Crooked Sun".
